Position Description:

Abdominal/Body Imaging Faculty Position - Department of Radiology

The Abdominal/Body Imaging Section of the Department of Radiology at the Medical College of Wisconsin is seeking a Board Certified/Eligible radiologist, who has successfully completed an Abdominal/Body Imaging Fellowship program and is eligible for medical licensure in Wisconsin.

  • Passion for providing high-quality patient care with proficiency in all body CT, body MR, ultrasonography, and fluoroscopy.

Team

  • The Department of Radiology is recognized as a progressive and forward-thinking team that continues to expand with a dynamic multi-site hospital and clinic network in the Milwaukee metropolitan area.
  • The Abdominal/Body Imaging Section includes 26 fellowship-trained faculty who specialize in body computed tomography, sonography, magnetic resonance imaging, and fluoroscopy. In addition, the section provides image-guided interventional services for percutaneous biopsy and drainage procedures.
  • The Department of Radiology provides post-graduate fellowships (including an Abdominal/Body Imaging fellowship with up to six positions per year), a diagnostic radiology residency program, and medical student elective clinical rotations.
  • Access to cutting edge CT, MR and US technology with opportunities to work in collaboration with basic research scientists and a major equipment vendor in the Milwaukee metro area.
  • Collaboration is the foundation for how we work within our department and with others across the organization. Our Radiology team includes 122 clinical faculty radiologists, 12 imaging science faculty, 12 instructor/fellows, 41 residents, 20 advanced practice providers, and 64 support staff.
