As the Major Account Marketing Strategist, you will provide tailored marketing support for our largest dealer group clients as we grow their adoption of our audience-driven tech and marketing solutions. You will take a targeted approach with the creation and maintenance of client specific materials that position our Cars Commerce story in a context most meaningful to their own business goals. And you’ll help sales partners navigate the full deal cycle from initial client needs analysis through post-sale serving tools. The ideal candidate will be able to leverage a combination of storytelling, data analysis, business development support and strategic thinking to best enable these major account partnerships.
Essential Function:
Partner with Major Accounts team to identify and prioritize high-value accounts in need of a tailored B2B marketing approach
Assist in the development of sales proposals,RFPs, and tailored strategic meeting content with a focus on connecting our platform strategy to clients’ executive team needs
Ensure tailored storytelling and material development aligns with the larger product marketing strategy
Collaborate across relevant B2B marketing groups to ensure the proper assessment and enablement for tailored applications of our solution set, such as home delivery programs or native retailing tool integration
Support sellers with briefing docs, templates and other resources to enable teams to effectively communicate with Major Account clients
Establish feedback loops that educate internal teams on clients’ expressed needs and desires for the Cars Commerce platform
Create and maintain solution-selling materials that effectively tailor our existing solution value props to clients with national retail dynamics
Brief Customer Analytics, Revenue Strategy, and other cross-functional teams on opportunities for improved growth and expanded value demonstration to Major Accounts
Monitor Major Account health signals, and work with teams to support proactive strategies against high cancel risk accounts
Maintain a library of relevant insights and data claims to leverage with Major Accounts
Build automated solutions for Account Based Marketing tactics that can widen the team’s impact and scale
Develop sequential messaging strategies that best engage a target clients key decision makers through our own Cars Commerce leaders
Partner with Strategy and Finance teams to monitor public releases and news surrounding Major Accounts, and translate those findings into tailored marketing approaches
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in marketing or related field, or equivalent experience
Minimum 3 years experience in marketing strategy or account based marketing work, preferably in an agency or enterprise sales setting
Experience in the automotive industry preferred
Proficiency in developing visually compelling client-facing presentations
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Proven experience and success working between teams
A high tolerance for ambiguity and complexity with the ability to quickly change focus, overcome obstacles, and balance the needs of the moment with longer-term goals

Salary Range
$90,500.00-110,850.00
