Transform your understanding of global health and the vital role of government through immersive experiences:

• Exclusive attendance at the World TB Day Parliamentary Breakfast and Retreat
• Hands-on policy development and parliamentary advocacy training

Develop expertise in critical areas:

• Parliamentary processes and health policy development
• Major health challenges in the Indo-Pacific region (TB, AIDS, and malaria)
• Intersection of gender equality and public health outcomes

• Model parliamentary sessions tackling pressing health issues

This fully-funded fellowship comes with a meaningful exchange: your commitment to ongoing advocacy. As part of Results Australia's mission to end global poverty, fellows pledge to:

• Actively participate in our advocacy network post-fellowship
• Champion key global health initiatives within Results Australia's focus areas
• Engage in quarterly advocacy actions targeting parliamentary decision-makers
• Contribute to policy submissions and campaigns
• Mentor future fellowship cohorts
• Participate in strategic advocacy events and parliamentary engagement
• Support Results Australia's mission through sustained volunteer advocacy

We're seeking future health leaders who:

• Are interested in politics and being a change agent for global health
• Hold a bachelor's degree in public health, international development, political science, or related fields
• Demonstrate strong interest in health policy and parliamentary processes
• Show commitment to improving health outcomes in the Indo-Pacific region
• Have excellent analytical and communication skills
• Bring diverse perspectives to global health challenges
• Are ready to commit to sustained advocacy for global health equity

Duration: 8 months fellowship + ongoing advocacy commitment

Location: Hybrid (in-person and virtual components)

Start Date: March 2025
