How you'll add value

As an Application Engineer on our ServiceNow platform you will provide the technical expertise to design, develop, and implement ServiceNow-based solutions to defined business problems and initiatives. You will be a vital contributor to sprint planning sessions and offer ServiceNow subject matter expertise as required in consultation sessions across our services teams.

Duties and Cor Responsibilities

  • Completes coding and unit testing of system functionality and/or defect correction across Service Now platforms and integrated spokes & systems
  • Participate as a subject matter expert to projects as assigned to assist with gathering requirements, developing, and implementing defined solutions
  • Identifies improvement and automation opportunities for existing ServiceNow processes to improve system performance and business impact
  • Resolves complex platform issues
  • Gathers and analyzes technical data and inputs to resolve break/fix issues on the platform
  • Creates system documentation/play book(s) and participate in requirements, design, and code reviews

Requirements

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  • Experience with web-based development languages including Javascript and HTML/CSS
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience and 2 or more years of ServiceNow experience deploying applications, building out catalog items/workflows, and configuring integrations
  • Experience with ServiceNow CMDB, ITOM, ServiceNow Discovery and with Automated Test Framework preferred
  • Experience working with Business Rules, Workflows/Flow Designer, Client Scripts, UI Policy, UI Actions
  • Experience working with ServiceNow Security features, administering Users, Roles, Groups, ACLs
  • Experience with core ServiceNow modules – IM, PM, CM, KM, Catalog, Employee Center, Virtual Agent, Performance Analytics, Reports and Dashboards

We also offer competitive compensation determined by each individual's relevant experience, skills, and education. In addition to base pay $64,680-110,424, Paycor Associates are eligible for either a performance-based annual bonus or commission, depending on the position.
