Job description

Hadron Labs is a software development company that builds smart-contract based decentralised systems. Currently, Hadron Labs’ two main projects are Drop and Neutron. Drop is a cross-chain liquid staking protocol built as an Integrated Application on the Neutron blockchain.

We are looking for a proactive, detail-oriented, and autonomous Legal Administrative Assistant to join our Legal team. In this role, you will be ensuring the smooth functioning of our legal operations by managing administrative tasks, supporting various legal processes, and closely collaborating with the HR team on employment law and compliance. You will work across multiple legal disciplines, including commercial law, immigration, and technology law, while also playing a vital role in maintaining document organization and improving existing workflows.

This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a remote environment and excels in managing legal and administrative tasks with precision and organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support in employment law, immigration, commercial law, and tech law
  • Maintain and organize legal documents, contracts, and records
  • Draft and update simple contracts, NDAs, subcontractor agreements, and other legal documentation
  • Collaborate with HR on legal aspects of onboarding, compliance, and employment processes
  • Help onboard new employees by communicating agreements and updating policies for the existing team
  • Ensure records are up to date in employer-of-record systems
  • Conduct legal research and summarize findings to support the Legal team
  • Assist in preparing and filing regulatory documents and compliance reports
  • Track deadlines for contracts, regulatory filings, and legal obligations
  • Support the Legal team in improving processes and developing templates
  • Perform background checks, verify IDs, and ensure proof documents are accurate and valid
  • Assist with internal audits and maintain compliance tracking systems

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Law is a strong plus
  • 2+ years in a legal administrative role or similar position
  • Strong organizational skills, excellent communication, and ability to work independently
  • Familiarity with employment law, immigration, and contract management
  • Experience with tools for document management and remote collaboration.
  • Strong English proficiency.
