Job Description:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Grant Research & Application Intern to help identify funding opportunities and prepare grant applications that align with our mission. This role is ideal for someone passionate about nonprofit work and interested in gaining valuable experience in grant writing and fundraising.
Responsibilities:
Grant Research:
- Identify and research potential grant opportunities from government agencies, foundations, and private organizations.
- Maintain a database of grant opportunities with key details, deadlines, and requirements.
Grant Application Preparation:
- Draft and edit grant proposals, ensuring alignment with AOE International's mission and goals.
- Work closely with the leadership team to gather necessary information and supporting documentation for applications.
- Customize proposals to meet the specific requirements of each grant opportunity.
Performance Tracking:
- Track the status of grant applications and maintain accurate records of submissions and outcomes.
- Provide regular updates and reports on progress toward grant application goals.
Collaboration:
- Communicate effectively with the executive team to ensure that applications reflect organizational priorities.
- Assist in creating compelling narratives and budgets for grant proposals.

Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Nonprofit Management, Public Administration, Communications, or a related field.
- Excellent research, writing, and editing skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with grant application processes and nonprofit funding is a plus.
- Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and other productivity tools.
