Job description

This role is remote with occasional work at clients in the USA. Please note we are seeking people who can work EST, or CST time zones. Candidate can reside in any state.

We are a successful business consulting firm working with middle market clients looking to expand our financial and operational data analytics and automation line of business to help our clients.

This professional must have experience with designing and implementing data analytics solutions for companies that have disparate systems using greater automation to help reduce manual effort to generate actionable information. The ideal candidate will have experience working with data visualization and data transformation tools such as Alteryx, Tableau, and Power BI and understand various types of ERP databases varying in size and complexity. The Director will be working with internal teams at all levels and leading junior members to execute various analytic projects and strategizing with senior members on practical solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Working alongside senior consultants designing practical analytics solutions on established third party software tools, including our internally supported Platform as a Service (PaaS) offering
  • Working with large data sets and converting to a user-friendly report.
  • Implementing business process solutions including developing user-friendly dashboards
  • Leading and mentoring junior analysts in developing and executing data analytic solutions.
  • Providing timely status updates and discussing solutioning with C-Suite leaders.
  • Manage multiple engagements with tight, sometimes overlapping deadlines.
  • Working with C-suite clients to discuss their needs, prepare RFP responses, and assess resources required to complete projects within required time frames.
  • Manage vendor contracts and relationships for software, hosting, and services.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree is required. Master’s degree in business analytics is preferred.
  • 8 years or more of experience in analytics design, implementation, and data transformation.
  • Healthcare industry experience is highly preferred.
  • Experience with managing client and stakeholder relationships is required within the consulting and advisory industry. This includes discussing needs with clients, scoping needs/ estimating resources required, project managing, addressing issues, identifying new opportunities at existing clients or helping build new client relations.
  • Client Delivery experience is required, preferably from a Big 4 accounting firm or sizable consulting firm.
  • Strong project management skill sets with abilities to assess and propose resources required to complete client projects within required time frames.
  • Experience required in a variety of business and financial analytics related projects.
  • Experience working with finance and operations groups is a strong asset.
  • Expertise or familiarity in robotic process automation and working with tools such as UIPath is an asset.
  • Familiarity with databases and understanding of ERP system data architecture.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate complex issues and solutions at all levels.
  • Expertise in Alteryx, Tableau, SQL, and Cloud Technologies
  • AWS, Azure, and Agile certifications a plus
  • Understanding of IT environments and database architecture
  • Ability to lead and mentor analytics teams.
  • Remote work with travel as required with clients (estimate 30%).
