Job description

This is a remote position.

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Fusion Accounting Hub (FAH) Functional Consultant to join our dynamic team for an 18-month engagement. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of financial business processes and demonstrate expertise in Oracle Fusion Accounting Hub (FAH) and General Ledger (GL) modules. This role is critical to our engagement and requires hands-on experience in configuring and implementing Oracle Fusion solutions to meet business needs.



Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with finance and business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into Oracle Fusion Accounting Hub solutions.

  • Configure and implement Oracle Fusion Accounting Hub modules, including General Ledger (GL) and other financial components.

  • Establish logical mappings with core applications to ensure seamless data flow and accurate reporting.

  • Design and document financial processes and workflows based on business requirements.

  • Provide functional expertise and recommendations to enhance financial reporting and accounting structures.

  • Conduct functional testing, support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and assist with defect resolution.

  • Deliver end-user training and provide ongoing support to ensure smooth system adoption.

  • Work closely with technical teams to integrate Oracle Fusion applications with other enterprise systems.

  • Monitor and evaluate system performance, recommending improvements as necessary.



Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as an Oracle Financials Functional Consultant, with a focus on Oracle Fusion Accounting Hub (FAH).

  • Proven expertise in Oracle Fusion Financials, including General Ledger (GL) and FAH modules.

  • Hands-on configuration and implementation experience with Oracle Fusion Accounting Hub.

  • Strong understanding of financial processes, accounting standards, and reporting requirements.

  • Experience in establishing logical mappings between financial systems and core business applications.

  • Proficiency in designing and implementing financial workflows and data integration processes.

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

  • Experience with at least two full-cycle implementations of Oracle Fusion Financials.

  • Oracle certifications in Financials or Fusion Accounting Hub are preferred.

  • Knowledge of European accounting standards and regulatory compliance is a plus.



Preferred Skills:
  • Familiarity with BI reporting tools and Oracle OTBI (Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence).

  • Experience in data migration and reconciliation processes.

  • Proficiency in SQL queries and data extraction for reporting purposes.

  • Knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.

  • Multilingual capabilities, especially in English and any major European language, are advantageous.
