Position: EDI Coordinator
Location: Montreal, Québec
Manager: EDI Manager

 

Continually growing and expanding, we are now looking for an exceptional EDI coordinator that will take BESTSELLER to the next level. 

 

WHAT IS EDI (Electronic Data Interchange)? 

It's a system that allows businesses to exchange documents and data, like orders, invoices, and shipping notices, electronically instead of using paper. EDI makes these exchanges faster, more accurate, and efficient by automating the process between companies, reducing errors and manual work.
 

WHAT YOU’LL DO

As an EDI Coordinator, you’ll be responsible for assisting in the management and processing of electronic data exchanges between our company and our business partners. Working with our Distribution Center, Wholesale Support Center and Sales team, your role will be crucial in communicating and coordinating between sales and operations.

  • Process EDI Transmission via EDI Platform TrueCommerce•
  • Examine and verify orders, assortments, and quantities.
  • Assist customers with all product information requirements
  • Communicate constantly with the sales team and the distribution center team to keep them updated with any changes.
  • Use precision and attention to detail when processing customer orders in our computer systems.
  • Verify the estimated arrival time of styles to ensure appointments are made with shipping while adhering to the order shipping windows.

WHO YOU ARE 

We’re looking for someone with a strong analytical mindset who’s not afraid to ask questions and dive into problem-solving. While we hire for attitude and train for skills, it would be great if you bring the following to the table:

  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar operational role.
  • Experience with EDI systems is a plus.
  • Familiarity with business software or ERP systems (e.g., SAP).
  • Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to spot errors in data.
  • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members.
  • A proactive, problem-solving attitude and eagerness to learn.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other office tools.
  • Fluency in both French and English to engage with all team members in Montreal, QC.
