Senior Salesforce Solution Engineer- Remote - 12 month FTC

Role Purpose? 

Reporting to Senior CRM and MarTech Manager. This role is a key technical role within the internal Salesforce team. This role will be actively looking for opportunities to foster and drive the expansion of the company’s CRM capabilities, improving the efficiency and usability of Sales and Service Cloud that support our relationships with customers. To assist Salesforce users in getting the most out of the platform and promote Salesforce best practices through design and technical implementation.

   How will I spend my time in this role?

• Understanding business and technical requirements and translating these into technical solutions

• Analysing existing business processes and identifying alternative solutions, assessing feasibility and recommending new approaches and driving efficiency within Sales and Service Cloud – challenging the status quo.

• Identifying areas/key priorities to maximize the use of the Salesforce platform – through best practice principles, optimization of capabilities/process/integration, championing PoC’s

• Key technical lead for internal design and implementation of UK Salesforce capability, working alongside Salesforce Admins, Salesforce Architect and Data Analysts to deliver useful salesforce solutions to Sales and Operational teams, responsible for code-based development.

• Build relationships engaging with stakeholders across different functions to facilitate change and effectively manage stakeholder relationships.

• Working with third party implementation partners, who are transforming our Salesforce instances for the UK, to ensure the solutions they deliver are aligned to best practice principles and effectively utilizing capability within Salesforce.

• Technical lead in the UK, working with our US and Australian business to champion Salesforce, best practices and sharing key learnings and use cases – key member of the Smartest Energy Salesforce Community

 What skills/experience do I need to be successful?

• Extensive experience within the Energy sector or other regulated industry (Desired)

• Experience driving Salesforce transformation and optimization within a B2B business.

• Hand on experience with SFDC, working as a Solution Architect/Developer (including implementation of solutions using Apex, LWC, Visualforce, Trigger framework, logging framework)

• Experience working with Energy & Utilities Cloud (Omni scripts, Data Raptors, Flex cards) (desirable)

• Knowledge around DevOps toolset

• Integration experience with native and custom applications.
