Position Overview:
Nevados is seeking a Supply Chain Specialist who will be responsible for managing and execution of day-to-day logistics operations. Tasks will include project logistics quotations with suppliers, management of future and active shipments, invoice validation and submission, documentation management, and communicating with project management and customers on a daily basis. The role is not limited to these activities and opportunities will arise to take on additional responsibilities.
The individual will work collaboratively with the supply chain team, engineering, sales, leadership, and Nevados customers. They will be expected to take leadership in accomplishing tasks and to lead meetings with the internal team, suppliers, organize thoughts and release notes with open items and actions to stakeholders.
Nevados is partially a remote team, and this person must be a self-starter, be able to manage their time wisely and be driven for success. Organizational, communication and leadership skills will help this person be successful in the role.
Required Qualifications:1+ years being part of a supply chain team and working, communicating and negotiating with overseas suppliers and logistics partners. 1+ years experience in ERP systems to include but no limited to,conducting inbound shipment and receipt transactions. Knowledge of working relationships with domestic and international logistics operations including customer, maritime operations, and domestic trucking operations. Experience reading and validating commercial contracts and associated paperwork. Creating / modifying reports to effectively analyze supply chain including all functions – planning, purchasing, logistics, and finance. Ability to professionally communicate (verbal and written) with logistics partners and customers.Strong Microsoft Excel abilities with knowledge of Microsoft office applications.Skills:Strong communication skills Time management skills ERP and Microsoft Suite proficiency Critical thinking and adaptability Organizational skills to conduct follow-ups for project successBenefits & Total Compensation Package
