As a key player under the guidance of the Vice President of Elevate Provider Network, you will be at the heart of executing our strategic plans and communication initiatives. In this pivotal role, you will drive the implementation of our strategic direction, manage operations effectively, and elevate the visibility and reputation of our organization both internally and externally. Implement the PSAO’s strategic plan, aligning with the organization’s mission, vision, and goals.
Lead the identification and analysis of market trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory changes to inform strategic decisions.
Oversee the daily operations of the PSAO, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and high-quality service delivery.
Develop and manage the PSAO P&L, ensuring financial sustainability and profitability.
Oversee audits and inspections, addressing any findings and implementing corrective actions as needed.
Identify new opportunities for growth and expansion, including new service offerings and market segments.
Develop and execute a comprehensive communications strategy to support the PSAO’s objectives and enhance its reputation and value proposition, including events, webinars, e-Learning modules, workshops, and other engagement activities.
Collaborate with peers on all internal and external communications, ensuring consistent and effective messaging across all channels.
Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of communication strategies and continuously update as needed to reflect the latest industry standards, regulatory changes, and organizational updates.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including member pharmacies, healthcare providers, industry partners, and regulatory bodies.
Represent Elevate Provider Network at industry conferences, events, and meetings to promote the organization and its initiatives.
Provide ongoing support and consultation to member pharmacies to address specific training needs and operational challenges.
Track and report on key performance metrics, providing regular updates to senior leadership.
Utilize data and analytics to inform decision-making and drive performance improvements.
Prepare and present comprehensive reports on PSAO performance, strategy, and initiatives.
Performs related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Requires broad training and experience in managed care, pharmacy benefit management, Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, Federal and State legal and regulatory developments, and retail pharmacy industry.
Requires bachelor’s degree in business administration, Healthcare Management, or a related field. Advanced degree (MBA, MHA) preferred.
Normally requires a minimum of twelve (12) years’ experience in pharmacy, managed care, or healthcare operations with at least five (5) years in a senior leadership role. Proven history of developing and executing strategic plans and communication strategies.
Excellent strategic thinking and critical thinking skills
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and persuasively.
Deep understanding of the pharmacy industry, including regulatory requirements, market trends, and operational best practices
Proficiency in using data and analytics to drive decision-making and measure performance and report to senior management monthly.
Strong people skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
Strong financial acumen
Proven ability to create compelling content and value propositions that engages and informs target audiences.
Ability to interpret industry trends and competitive information and develop strategies and tactics to respond to changes in the marketplace.
Must be willing to travel.
Must be proficient in the use of video conferencing technologies.
This position will require travel to member pharmacies, industry conferences, and other relevant events.
Flexibility to work outside regular business hours as needed to meet organizational goals and address urgent issues.
