We are looking for a driven Business Development Manager to lead our efforts in introducing autonomous delivery robots to industrial campuses across the DACH region, with the potential to expand further across Europe.

Imagine transforming how goods move within factories, warehouses, and logistics hubs – that's the impact you'll have.

This is a true hunter role. You'll spend 80% of your time actively prospecting, engaging in outbound sales, and chasing new business opportunities. You'll be responsible for identifying and connecting with potential clients, building a strong sales pipeline, and turning cold leads into long-term partnerships.

This position is located in Germany and can be based in any city. The role requires 25-40% travel within DACH regions.

Your main responsibilities are:

  • Identifying and targeting industrial sites, warehouses, factories, and similar prospects for Starship autonomous robots. Developing channel partnerships, especially with facility management services, to build your pipeline
  • Conducting compelling on-site presentations of Starship robots, highlighting their capabilities, ease of integration, and cost-effectiveness
  • Managing key stakeholders across operations, logistics, and safety compliance to address concerns and secure smooth onboarding
  • Managing your sales pipeline using Salesforce CRM, navigating the 3- to 9-month sales cycle and ensuring progress at each stage
  • Keeping up with industry trends, competitor activities, and client needs to effectively position Starship and adapt strategies
  • Leading contract negotiations and securing favorable outcomes while meeting stakeholder requirements

What we hope you’ll bring to the table:

  • Opportunity to work on industry-leading self-driving delivery robot technology on a uniquely large scale, creating history and making things happen
  • Proven experience in B2B sales, ideally within facility management, logistics, industrial solutions, or hardware solutions
  • A hunter mentality - you actively seek out potential customers and thrive in outbound sales
  • Fluency in German and English; proficiency in French is a plus
  • A self-motivated, results-driven approach, with a history of exceeding sales targets
  • A valid driver’s license to facilitate client meetings and site visits
  • Willingness to travel for client meetings and site visits as needed
  • Ability to manage multi-stakeholder sales processes, with an understanding of regulatory and safety considerations being a bonus
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, capable of conveying technical concepts in a clear and engaging manner
  • Proficiency with Salesforce CRM or any other sales software
