Our HR Team is made up of a group of highly talented and dynamic team members committed to excellence and we invite you to join us as our Sr. Employee Relations Specialist. 

Location: Remote, Warrendale, PA (Pittsburgh, PA) area

The Senior Employee Relations Specialist will be responsible for all employee relations activity for specified business units and departments at Vector Security.  This includes investigations, corrective actions, performance improvement plans, and associated terminations.  The incumbent will address background check / drug testing hits and will also train managers on how to more effectively lead/manage their teams when facing performance issues.  Additionally, the incumbent will be responsible for resolving all Ethics Hotline submissions.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Conduct investigations, corrective actions, performance improvement plans and associated terminations.
  • Build relationships and partner with Vector Leadership, Managers and HR Business Partners.
  • Address background / drug testing hits.
  • Manage all aspects of the Ethics Hotline.
  • Improve all products, processes and forms associated with the employee relations function (including the Performance Management Process), and contribute to improving other HR products, processes and forms.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

  • College degree or equivalent experience, with minimum 10 - 15 years of specific experience within HR
  • Must have excellent human relation skills with the ability to interact with internal and external customers, vendors, other HR professionals and Home Office management.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills.
  • Strong relationship building skills.
  • Management skills
  • Able to think/act strategically
  • Proficient in HRIS applications
