Remote Business Analyst - 1 Year Contract - NC Child Support Services

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst for a one-year remote contract based in Raleigh, NC. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of a new software solution for NC Child Support Services. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in child support services and demonstrate exceptional analytical capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate in the development of business cases, process enhancements, and requirement analysis.
• Identify and document stakeholders, data flows, and current and future state process workflows.
• Gather, document, validate, and maintain essential business, functional, and technical/non-functional requirements.
• Transform client system requirements into agile themes, product backlogs, epics, and user stories.
• Work closely with the Product Owner and subject matter experts to refine user stories and establish acceptance criteria.
• Engage with both vendor and internal developers to confirm that functionalities meet the defined acceptance standards.
• Conduct gap analysis and detailed requirement development initiatives.
• Assist in the planning, preparation, and execution of user acceptance testing, including the creation of test scenarios and cases.
• Maintain comprehensive requirements traceability throughout the project lifecycle to support testing and production rollout.
• Contribute to the creation of procurement documents such as Requests for Proposals, Requests for Quotes, and Requests for Information.
• Offer support in vendor proposal evaluations and documentation of results.
• Facilitate analysis of process improvements and assist in market research for automation projects.
• Document meeting agendas and notes and facilitate relevant meetings.
• Aid the project manager in maintaining project artifacts and preparing status reports.
• Manage SharePoint sites for assigned projects and perform other analytical and project support tasks as needed.
