As an Event-focused Marketing Coordinator, you'll play a pivotal role in executing event-related marketing tactics that not only support but also elevate our company's overarching marketing strategy. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include the Following:
- Event Management:
- Plan, coordinate, and prepare marketing materials for events, trade shows, and promotional activities
- Help with venue sourcing, logistics management, attendee coordination, and post-event evaluations
- Maintain weekly content calendars and schedule social media posts, emails, and other marketing communications related to events
- Work closely with team members and partners for successful execution of events
- Manage and allocate inventory of promotional items for events
- Distribute event materials across our team for upcoming events and trade shows
- Develop strategies to drive lead generation through event registrations and other event-related activities
- Other Marketing Tasks as Required
- Create unique marketing collateral and content assets across multiple channels including email, e-newsletter, social, blog, video, as well as direct mail, ensuring corporate identity is maintained
- Provide support with social media strategy including social monitoring and community management
- Help plan, execute, and manage strategic marketing campaigns, both digital and traditional
- Assist in maintaining, updating, and managing Duncan-Parnell websites
- Other duties as assigned
Education/Experience:
- A bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a similar field
- 1-2 years’ experience as a Marketing Coordinator, Digital Marketing Specialist, Event Coordinator, or similar role is preferred (B2B industry is a plus)
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with business partners
- Excellent written communication & strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
- Experience writing content & creating assets for social media is a plus (B2B preferred)
- Experience using digital marketing automation software is a plus
- Website management experience (WordPress, HubSpot, Magento or others) is a plus
- Experience working in a CRM database is a plus (Salesforce preferred)
