About this Role:

We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Senior Learning Experience Designer to join our innovative Learning Experience team. This role is pivotal in creating and delivering high-quality and impactful learning experiences that drive performance and foster a culture of continuous learning and professional growth. Senior Learning Experience Designer will play a key role in implementing a variety of training programs that support organizational goals and strategic initiatives. The Senior Learning Experience Designer will be responsible for delivering content that is not only educational but also engaging and inspiring.  The Senior Learning Experience Designer should be proficient in utilizing different delivery methods and platforms. Collaborating closely with instructional designers, subject matter experts, and other stakeholders will ensure that learning experiences are tailored to meet diverse learner needs and help drive measurable outcomes. This role reports directly to the Director, Learning Experience and requires adherence to organizational standards and tools to ensure consistency and effectiveness across all learning initiatives.

Job Description:

 

  • Design and develop instructional materials: Including e-learning modules, instructor-led training materials, job aids, simulations, and interactive multimedia content, using instructional design principles and best practices.  Knowledge of end-to-end content creation is required.
  • Evaluate and Update Learning Programs. Regularly collect learner feedback and performance data to assess the effectiveness of learning experiences. Use evaluation tools and feedback to make updates and improvements, ensuring content stays relevant and effective. Continuously refine training based on insights gathered to improve learner performance and meeting evolving needs. (Kirkpatrick Model of Evaluation)
  • In collaboration with team members and stakeholders, develop curriculum paths, keeping learner objectives and business impact top of mind.
  • Ensure Consistent Standards: Conduct thorough quality assurance reviews to maintain consistency in content presentation, adherence to brand guidelines, and up-to-date processes and procedures.
  • Utilize e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline) to create engaging and interactive online learning experiences that promote knowledge retention and skill acquisition. 
  • Collaborate with other members of the learning experience team to enhance the visual appeal and interactivity of learning materials. 
  • Manage multiple instructional design projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery.
  • Create and maintain project documentation, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Gather and action feedback to improve learning experiences and they meet user and organizational requirements.
  • Collaborate with team members and outside stakeholders to set direction for content style and tone.
  • Review and refine instructional materials to ensure clarity, consistency and alignment with branding and tone.
  • Participate in QA of learning content to ensure usability and effectiveness.
  • Manage Learning Assets in LMS: Organize, upload, and manage content in the Learning Management System (LMS) to ensure seamless learner access and accurately track completion rates and performance metrics.
  • Stay Current with Industry Trends: Stay informed about the latest trends in instructional design, video content creation, AI technologies, and e-learning best practices and incorporate these innovations into your work.
  • Contribute to the success of the team by mentoring and guiding peers/coworkers in the best practices of instructional design, content creation and course facilitation.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree required with at least 7-10 years of experience in eLearning development and course creation.
  • Demonstrated experience in delivering engaging and impactful learning experiences.
  • Proficiency in utilizing virtual platforms like Teams for learning delivery and learner engagement.
  • Experience in using LMS to manage learning logistics, track learner progress, and evaluate learning outcomes.
  • Proven ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment and encourage active participation and knowledge retention.
  • Experience in facilitation in a corporate group setting is required.
