As a Sales Specialist - Life Sciences at Avantor, you will be responsible for generating growth opportunities in Norway with our existing and new customers.
Please note, that this is a temporary position limited for 1 year as a maternity leave cover.
What we’re looking for:
- Completed studies in biochemistry, molecular biology, or a comparable scientific education
- Experience in the laboratory is an advantage
- Experience in selling similar products (> 2 years)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, and enjoyment in dealing with customers
- Sales and negotiation skills with a strong closing ability
- Entrepreneurial and independent thinking and acting
- Problem-solving and decision-making competence
- Very good Norwegian and good English skills
- Driver's license B
How you will thrive and create an impact:
- Managing existing customers and acquiring new contacts in the life sciences sector
- Advising and selling our life sciences product range
- Launching products, promoting sales, and increasing the sales of our comprehensive product portfolio
- Responsibility for revenue and margins
- Conducting analyses and reporting to the sales management
- Supporting key account/account managers and collaborating with the entire internal team
