Join Coursemojo, an innovative ed-tech company, as we strive to redefine the educational journey for students. We're on the hunt for a dedicated English Language Arts AI Activity Designer, focused on creating & scaling captivating learning experiences for upper elementary & middle school students.
In the role of English Language Arts AI Activity Designer, your primary objective will be to help create, standardize, and scale (leveraging contractors & existing technical processes) a set of ELA activities and activity templates that support upper elementary and middle school teachers in addressing the unique reading needs of their students within the context of the district's chosen curriculum. This person will report to the Executive Director and VP of Product who oversees Coursemojo’s Content Team
Why is this role significant?
The chosen candidate will be instrumental in helping us standardize and scale our ELA AI activity design production, particularly for grades 4-8, ensuring that each AI-driven activity is curriculum aligned, pedagogical sound, and engaging. These activities will center around promoting productive struggle with texts by moving students from the literal to making deeper meaning, leveraging close reading discussions as a foundation for writing, and enabling students to polish their writing from initial drafts to impressive final pieces.
We leverage artificial intelligence to shape and scale the production of these experiences meaning that our designers should be tech-savvy, and eager to learn how to incorporate new technologies into their processes, but by no means requires AI prompt engineering experience or advanced technological skill.
