Job Summary

Our team is looking for a Backend Engineer familiar with Python and working with complex distributed systems. We want someone who enjoys helping other team members grow and has a strong focus on customer experience. On the Mobile Platform team, we build foundational architecture widely used by customers and mobile engineers at the organization.

Responsibilities

Improve backend infrastructure supporting our mobile product
Develop and maintain core web apps for a world class cloud platform
Lead team initiatives for quality and resiliency in our backend services

Minimum Qualifications

5+ years of professional software development experience
Experience with Python and Flask
Ability to solve problems and think critically on your own
Enthusiastic and curious in your approach to coding
Empathy and respect for co-workers

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Kotlin / KTOR / JVM backend services
Experience with Istio or similar service mesh technology
Experience with Node
