This remote opportunity allows you to operate as an Independent Contractor, providing the flexibility of a 100% remote work environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately transcribe audio recordings related to legal proceedings, including depositions and hearings.
  • Adhere strictly to client-specific style guides and deadlines.
  • Ensure high levels of accuracy and meticulous attention to detail in all transcripts.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members remotely as required.

Required Skills

  • Significant experience in court reporting, scoping, or legal transcription.
  • Exceptional listening abilities.
  • Strong compliance with deadlines and attention to client style guides.
  • Excellent literacy skills, including spelling, grammar, and comprehension.
  • Proficient typing skills, demonstrating both speed and accuracy.
  • Capability to process challenging audio/text content (potentially offensive).
  • Familiarity with legal terminology.
  • Ability to pass a background check.
  • Court reporting students are welcome to apply.
