This opportunity is entirely remote, designed for Independent Contractors seeking flexibility and professional growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Transcribe audio recordings of depositions, hearings, and judicial proceedings with a focus on accuracy.
  • Maintain strict adherence to style guides to produce verbatim transcripts.
  • Collaborate remotely with our supportive in-office team whenever necessary.
  • Manage deadlines effectively while processing diverse audio content.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in legal transcription or related fields.
  • Exceptional listening skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Strong literacy skills, including spelling, grammar, and comprehension.
  • Proficiency in typing speed and accuracy.
  • Familiarity with legal terminology and processes.
  • Ability to process potentially sensitive audio/text content.
  • Must pass a background check.
  • Court reporting students may also be considered.
  • Note: This opportunity is not available to residents of Massachusetts or California.
