Job description

Intern - Client Service Coordinator

TMS Global are a wholly owned subsidiary of DS Smith PLC, a FTSE100 listed multi-national packaging and display manufacturing business who are a leading global provider of corrugated packaging solutions. TMS Global specialise in the outsourcing of retail display, print and packaging for a variety of global customers and are active in 97 markets globally and we are made up of just over 300 people who are spread internationally across APAC, LATAM, EMEA and NA.

We have been working with one of the world’s leading FMCG brands for over 10 years on one of the most prestigious contracts in the POS and Display sector. Every few years we look to bring on board an Inten for a 2-year period to join our team in Sao Paulo, Brazil. This will be a predominantly remote/virtual which will be mainly working from home role with monthly in-person team meetings.

About the role

The Client Service Coordinator will play a key part ensuring that the necessary operational processes that are required to operate in the complex Brazil market is undertaken promptly, compliantly and within local requirements. They will ensure that the whole operational administrative process is managed exceptionally and delivered efficiently supporting the wider Brazilian team. You will also engage with TMS’s support functions to ensure the processes meet the needs of the job and client services team expectations, is delivered on time.

Some daily responsibilities will include

  • Manage local billing/invoicing requirements.
  • Provide support to ensure compliance and development.
  • Support the wider client services team on projects.
  • Ensures mandatory paperwork has been created by support teams and is in the right place, correctly completed, and correctly recorded.
  • Work with the Client Service team to develop and execute account management plans.

To qualify for the role, some skills that would be either essential or helpful-

  • Working fluency in English
  • Experience using Microsoft platforms
  • You would be currently studying and in your 2nd years of university and must be eligible to work for the full 2 years Internship.
  • All degree studies would be considered, but areas that might more relevant: Operations, Logistics, Business, Administration, Finance, Sciences
  • Keen to learn with a proactive approach and comfortable working in a role with regular interactions with internal and external teams.
