The Position

The Senior Financial Analyst will be a pivotal member of the Finance team, responsible for shaping the growth strategy of Aria in support of its long-term goals. Reporting to the Vice President of Finance, this is a high visibility role that will offer executive support in the areas of Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, and Revenue Operations. This is a newly created position driven by business growth that offers the opportunity of upward mobility for a driven and successful candidate.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities


  • Strategic Support: Be a trusted business partner in the areas of Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, and Revenue Operations. Translate financial performance, KPIs, & detailed analysis into actionable insights and recommendations.


  • Financial Modeling: Own the topline portion (sales, retention, revenue) of the financial model, including in the annual budget process, periodic reforecasts, and the long-range plan.


  • Supporting Analysis: Own, improve upon, and create insightful analysis on financial performance, key performance indicators, and trends to support decision-making. Examples include territory / product expansion research, marketing ROI, sales capacity, churn analysis, compensation planning, commissions calculation, pricing modeling. 


  • Reporting & Presentations: Support the VP Finance & CFO in the creation of monthly reporting materials and presentations to the executive team and board of directors.


  • Automation & Process Improvement: Proactively improve upon or create new processes that reduce manual effort & improve the efficiency of the finance function. Collaborate with Revenue Operations and Analytics to enhance the value of systems, especially Salesforce and PowerBI.


Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business administration, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience (FP&A, strategic finance, investment banking, private equity, strategy, consulting), with a record of achievement & ownership.
  • Expertise in financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Experience in leveraging technology & systems.
  • Ability to communicate complex financial concepts to non-finance stakeholders.
  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and team-building skills.


Other Qualifications


  • Advanced skills and experience using Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint.
  • Experience using Salesforce, Intacct, and PowerBI is preferred.
  • Problem solving skills - strong analytical and critical thinking skills to identify problems and develop innovative solutions.
  • Planning/organizing - the ability to manage multiple tasks to ensure that assignments are completed in a timely and productive manner.
  • Quality control/Attention to detail - demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness; monitors own work to ensure quality and applies feedback to improve performance.
  • Communication - Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Physical Effort & Working Conditions

Work is performed remotely (home office) or in a normal office setting in our Overland Park, KS headquarters with minimal exposure to health or safety hazards. Substantial time is spent working on a computer.
