Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Software Product Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading operations enablement solutions. In this role, you will drive the strategy, roadmap, and development for mission-critical solutions, such as our interpreter platform, used by tens of thousands of interpreters around the world. You’ll also collaborate closely with Operations leadership and teams to identify, define, and deploy new solutions to supercharge our service delivery, driving increased efficiency, quality, and impact. You’ll work across the entire PDLC, from solution vision and roadmap to requirements gathering and prioritization to ideation and experimentation to iterative development and delivery to post-release optimization. You will ensure that your solutions continuously meet user, and stakeholder needs while furthering related business goals. Working closely, collaboratively, and transparently with development team members and stakeholders, you’ll gather and prioritize requirements, hypothesize and test potential solutions, scope valuable and coherent releases, and iteratively build and deliver high-quality product increments.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in end-to-end software development leadership and methodology, with hands-on expertise in applying best practices to define and drive the development of technically complex solutions. A proven track record of delivering impactful software products in an Agile environment is essential.
Key Responsibilities
Drive the creation and evolution of solution strategy, ensuring ongoing alignment with key stakeholders and clear linkage with higher-order business and technology strategies.
Lead the definition and management of clear, compelling solution roadmaps that are needs-based, data-informed, and outcomes-oriented, working closely with stakeholders across the organization to gain alignment on items, outcomes, and priorities.
Translate business goals, market problems, and customer feedback into clear, actionable requirements and user stories, ensuring alignment with the product vision and roadmap.
Lead lean solution discovery practices to rapidly identify, define, and validate potential features and enhancements, including research, ideation, and experimentation.
Oversee the continuous prioritization and refinement of solution backlogs, balancing user needs, technical constraints, and business objectives to maximize solution impact.
Lead the scoping and planning of product releases, ensuring that each release is strategically focused, well-defined, and capable of delivering measurable value to the organization.
Work closely with downstream teams to ensure they are fully prepared for upcoming software releases, facilitating knowledge transfer and addressing any potential issues prior to launch.
Support LLS’ Quality Management System (QMS) to continually improve the Division’s processes, procedures, and services and thereby increase efficiency, productivity, effectiveness, and customer satisfaction.
The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role is listed below. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within this location. Experience and education refers to LanguageLine Solutions’ current salary range for this position. US Remote pay range is $140,000.00 USD - $150,000.00 USD.
The actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, business, or a related field (Master’s or MBA preferred.)
5+ years of hands-on experience as a software product manager at multiple organizations, working within a Scrum SDLC.
A demonstrable track record of developing and delivering solutions with quantified business impact.
Experience with modern innovation frameworks, such as JTBD/ODI, Blue Ocean, and Lean Startup.
Experience managing the entire product lifecycle, from discovery to delivery and post-release optimization.
Strong technical acumen, with a working knowledge of modern stacks and the ability to discuss architectural concepts, trade-offs, and new opportunities with technical team members.
Strong understanding of UX/UI principles and how they impact product design and user experience.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Excellent interpersonal skills, with high EQ and the ability to establish trust with a diverse set of stakeholders.
Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions based on data and user insights.
Strong leadership and team management abilities, with a proven ability to lead cross-functional teams to achieve common goals.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Extensive experience with Jira and Confluence; working knowledge of Salesforce.
Experience with Elastic and Kibana is preferred.
Fluency in multiple languages is preferred.
