Job description

This is a remote position.

We take lots of interesting conversational technology and make it accessible for our customers in our Propensity Studio. The Propensity Studio helps to automate customer conversations using AI & Machine Learning based Natural Language Understanding techniques.

We are currently hiring a junior to mid-level Data Science Engineer with at least 2 years professional experience to work with our AI/ML team to strengthen our AI driven conversational engine.

Some specifics on the role: 

 
First 3 months  

Create a framework to analyse data patterns around conversations and conversation campaigns, with this analysis help in creating candidate training sets for the Propensity Studio.  
 

First 6 Months 

Use this framework on live datasets to analyse how well the data & metadata around conversations & campaigns impacts our customers’ business goals. 
 
After 12 Months 

Improve the framework to run on live datasets, suggest optimisations and run again for continuously to make improvements in propensity classifications. Help create new datasets for specific uses cases for our customers, these include custom intents & entities. 


All of this will be accomplished working with our current Machine Learning & AI technology and under the of AI and Data Science.  This position is aimed at junior to mid-level engineers based in the Europe. You must have the appropriate VISA or citizenship of the country you are residing in to be considered for this job.  

In addition to salary and benefit you will: 

  • Work on leading edge AI and Machine Learning NLU based applications. 
  • Contribute to tools, technologies, and processes on the ML team. 
  • Work on green field and existing projects 
  • Add to production grade highly scalable ML & AI applications 
  • Also, also get to learn about and implement leading edge Data Science processes and techniques 


Requirements
The key responsibilities of the role are to:
  • Improve our data science strategy and processes 
  • Data cleansing, reporting, and improvements on our existing ML models 
  • Use cutting edge data science techniques to improve entity collection and intent recognition 
  • Solve general data science problems 

To be successful in the role you will need:
  • Software Engineering Experience using Python 
  • Experience in solving data science problems 
  • Data science at a degree level or equivalent data science experience 
  • Solid troubleshooting skills 
  • Conversational written and oral communication in English 

The personal qualities we will be looking for are:
  • Intellectually curious

  • Methodical troubleshooting skills 
  • Passion for Data Science 

and you will get bonus points if you have experience of:
  • Multi-lingual 
  • Working knowledge of containerisation technology 
  • Working knowledge of the AWS stack 


Benefits

Salary: €35,000 per annum 

Location

This role is a remote role. There is the option to work remotely, in the office, or both, depending on your location.  Occasional visits to our Dublin Office may be required.
