Marstel-Day, LLC, a premier environmental and sustainability consulting firm, is seeking a mid- to senior-level Proposal Coordinator with multiple skills in proposal preparation, writing, document layout, proposal organization, and proposal team management. Job Description:
Candidate will lead or support proposal efforts for Federal and other procurements (state, local, and/or private sector). Candidate may serve as a coordinator supporting a Proposal Manager and team or may also work as the Proposal Manager overseeing a team to prepare a procurement response. Efforts will include coordinating multiple proposals of various sizes, analyzing RFP requirements, team coordination and management, schedule management, creating proposal content, proposal review and quality assurance including organizing review teams (pink, red, and gold), working with Capture Managers to develop win themes and competitive responses, curation of past proposals, and management of company qualifications and resumes.
Qualification Requirements:
- Demonstrated experience and success leading proposal responses for Federal (SF330s, RFPs, RFQs, RFIs, Sources Sought), state, and/or local government procurements in the role as the Proposal Coordinator and/or Proposal Manager.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, planning, English, journalism, communications, or related field.
- Excellent writing, document copy editing, document layout design, and organizational skills.
- Formatting proposal text and graphics to make proposals more aesthetically pleasing and easier to read.
- Strong ability to collaborate, communicate, and interact with multidiscipline proposal teams.
- Strong proposal management and team building skills, and ability to maintain schedules.
- High-level proficiency in the use of Microsoft Word® and some skills with Adobe InDesign® for proposal formatting and layout.
- Self-motivated and ability to work independently in a flexible work environment.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
The incumbent must:
- Be eligible to work in the U.S. (DHS Form I-9 must be completed by the incumbent and submitted to DHS for verification of citizenship and eligibility through E-Verify)
