Job Summary (Primary Function)
The Oncology/Hematology Specialist is a pivotal role responsible for driving demand creation by implementing strategic marketing initiatives, educating healthcare professionals, and promoting Incyte's product portfolio. This position requires a collaborative mindset to work effectively with both internal teams and external partners, supporting our growing lymphoma and solid tumor franchise.
Essential Functions Of The Job (Key Responsibilities)
- Consistently meet or exceed established revenue targets.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive business plan that reflects a deep understanding of local market dynamics and account-specific insights.
- Build and maintain robust disease state knowledge, product knowledge (including competitive products) and demonstrate exceptional selling skills.
- Articulate the clinical advantages of Incyte’s products to external stakeholders with clarity and confidence.
- Implement marketing strategies and deliver compelling branded and disease-state sales messages.
- Provide outstanding customer service through holistic account management, ensuring seamless product access and addressing any medical or reimbursement concerns.
- Leverage the expertise of matrix team members to meet customer needs and facilitate patient access to Incyte products.
- Offer constructive feedback on marketing tools and assess the effectiveness of sales activities.
- Uphold Incyte’s reputation by representing the company in a professional, compliant, and ethical manner.
- Engage with customers through both in-person and virtual interactions, as required or requested.
Qualifications (Minimal acceptable level of education, work experience, and competency):
- Bachelor’s degree is required.
- Significant experience in biotech/pharmaceutical sales.
- Experience in the Hematology/Oncology market, with a preference for experience in the lymphoma category.
- Familiarity with buy and bill oncolytics and specialty pharmacies.
- Documented history of successful sales performance.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in account management.
- Proven ability to establish and maintain professional relationships with healthcare providers in both community and academic settings.
- Experience working effectively within matrix teams.
- Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- Customer-focused selling approach with in-depth knowledge of the local oncology market.
- Strong business planning skills and effective communication abilities.
- Willingness and ability to travel as necessary, utilizing various modes of transportation.

USD $160,000.00 - USD $192,000.00 /Yr.
