We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Product Manager to lead our Human Capital Management (HCM) Suite through a transformative journey focused on Skills and Artificial Intelligence (AI). This role is pivotal in revolutionizing skills-based hiring within government sectors—shifting the emphasis from traditional credentials to actual skills and competencies. By adopting this approach, we aim to modernize the public sector workforce, address critical skill shortages, and promote diversity and inclusion.

What You Will Do

• Strategic Leadership: Develop and communicate a multi-phased, cross-product strategy for our "Skills-First" initiative across the HCM Suite, ensuring alignment with NEOGOV's business objectives and market needs.
• Technology Partnership: Assess and aid in selecting advanced technology solutions and AI partners to enhance our product offerings.
• Product Development: Oversee the entire product lifecycle—from ideation to launch—ensuring timely delivery of high-quality features and enhancements across multiple products. Collaborate closely with specific product owners to manage and address cross-product dependencies.
• Market Analysis: Conduct ongoing market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and threats. Utilize insights to inform product decisions and maintain a competitive edge.
• Customer Engagement: Engage with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders to gather feedback and insights, ensuring our "Skills-First" HCM solutions exceed customer expectations.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work collaboratively with engineering, sales, marketing, support, data science, and customer success teams to ensure cohesive execution of product initiatives.
• Performance Tracking: Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of the cross-portfolio solutions. Leverage customer feedback, user research, and behavioral data to identify opportunities for product improvement.

What You Have

• Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Professional Experience: 7+ years of experience in HCM products with a strong understanding of talent management processes and the HR technology landscape. Skills and HCM AI experience are a plus.
• Strategic Thinker: Exceptional strategic thinking and analytical skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
• Effective Communicator: Outstanding communication and presentation skills, capable of articulating complex concepts to diverse audiences.
• Relationship Builder: Proven ability to cultivate strong relationships with customers, partners, and internal teams.
• Project Management Skills: Strong ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
