Job description

LTS is seeking an experienced and innovative Program Manager to oversee and support daily operations of readiness services within the Defense Health Agency (DHA). This role will be focused on strategic planning, implementation, and management of programs aimed at enhancing remote health services, readiness, and overall mission success for DoD personnel. The Program Manager will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage resources, and ensure program alignment with the DHA’s mission and goals. This role is critical to ensuring the operational readiness and health of our military personnel through innovative remote healthcare solutions.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Oversee and support the continued performance of the Program with the ability to take immediate action to prevent or correct, any actual or potential problems that could have significant or adverse impact on the delivery of readiness services.
  • Recommend appropriate corrective action, including relating to actions associated with access to services, equipment, and operations, to ensure effective planning and utilization of available resources.
  • Participate in reviewing, analyzing, and providing RHRP operational reports, standing operating procedures, policies.
  • Lead the design, implementation, and evaluation of the program
  • Develop strategies to integrate remote health services into existing military health systems.
  • Ensure alignment with DHA’s strategic objectives and DoD policies.
  • Establish project timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Monitor progress and performance, addressing risks and implementing corrective actions
  • Utilize project management tools and methodologies to track and report on program activities.
  • Collaborate with leadership, DoD agencies, health care providers, and contractors to ensure program success.
  • Act as the primary liaison between stakeholders and external partners, ensuring effective communication and coordination.
  • Present program updates, performance metrics, and recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Manage program budgets, contracts, and personnel.
  • Identify and allocate resources effectively to meet program goals.
  • Ensure compliance with DoD acquisition and financial management regulations.
  • Ensure program adherence to federal, DoD, and DHA policies, regulations, and standards.
  • Develop and update program documentation, including policies, procedures, and operational guidelines.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree in Healthcare Administration or a Business related field plus ten years of Program Management experience preferably within the federal government or healthcare sector.
  • Prior military service or experience working within the DoD healthcare system is highly preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience with large-scale program implementation and management.
  • Strong knowledge of DoD healthcare systems, policies, and readiness requirements.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, PMP certification preferred).
  • Exceptional communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with remote healthcare technologies and telehealth systems.
  • Familiarity with DHA operations and readiness initiatives.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Ability to work extended hours as needed and occasional travel may be required.
