Full-Time | Remote with Travel


About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and driven Territory Sales Manager to spearhead commercial flooring sales efforts within the Mid-Atlantic region. This role is responsible for prospecting, developing relationships, and securing commercial flooring projects through partnerships with General Contractors, developers, architects, and key stakeholders.

This position is focused on sales and business development. It does not include responsibilities for estimating or project management.As a strategic sales professional, you will focus on growing revenue by identifying new business opportunities, managing the sales pipeline, and fostering long-term partnerships with industry leaders involved in large-scale commercial projects.


Key Responsibilities:

Business Development & Prospecting

  • Identify and target General Contractors, developers, and industry partners for commercial flooring projects.
  • Actively prospect and generate leads to expand market presence and project pipeline.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to win bids and secure contracts in key commercial sectors.

Relationship Management & Client Engagement

  • Establish and nurture strong partnerships with General Contractors, architects, designers, and decision-makers.
  • Provide consultative solutions to clients, ensuring product alignment with project needs.
  • Foster trust and long-term collaboration to drive repeat business.

Sales & Project Management

  • Oversee the full sales cycle—from lead generation to contract negotiation and closing.
  • Hand off awarded projects to internal estimating and project management teams for execution.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, competitive activity, and market opportunities.

Territory Growth & Strategy

  • Drive market penetration and revenue growth within the Mid-Atlantic region (PA, NJ, MD, DE, Western NY).
  • Identify emerging opportunities in commercial real estate, hospitality, healthcare, and other key industries.
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to strengthen regional presence.
Requirements
  • Proven B2B sales experience in commercial flooring, construction, or related industries.
  • Established relationships with General Contractors and industry stakeholders preferred.
  • Strong ability to prospect, develop, and close large-scale commercial projects.
  • Highly skilled in negotiation, networking, and consultative selling.
  • Self-motivated and results-driven with excellent time management.
  • Ability to travel across the Mid-Atlantic territory as needed.

Note: This role is focused on sales. The company has dedicated teams for estimating, project management, and installation. The Sales Manager will not be responsible for those functions.
