What You Will Be Doing

  • Take responsibility for international tax matters and provide tax support to the business across all EMEA entities, working to efficiently lead tax risk and planning
  • Corporate Tax - ensure we are up to date in each country we operate in with our returns and payments
  • VAT/GST - ensure we are compliant with tax rules, monitor any updates and oversee the reporting by the General Ledger team
  • Withholding tax – manage any withholding tax residency certificate requests and general queries related to this
  • Tax Provision – Oversee the preparation of annual tax provisions by the General Ledger team, and support the US based tax team in the preparation of the worldwide tax provision
  • Transfer Pricing - Documentation, Intercompany Agreements, Processing – work with US based Director of Tax/Legal to ensure documentation and agreements in place. Summarise changing Transfer Pricing structures and communicate and changes with General Ledger team
  • Manage external tax audits including responding to inquiries from tax authorities and collaborating with various finance functions
  • Assist Finance Director with entity dissolutions
  • Cooperate with other tax department members and corporate support functions to ensure compliance and minimize risk while managing cash flow
  • Managing Relationships - Working and liaising closely with Senior Director of Tax/Senior Finance Director and be the point person for all our local tax providers in EMEA
  • Lead all strategic tax initiatives in the EMEA region such as R&D and hiring incentives

To Be Successful in The Role, You Will Have

  • Qualified Tax Professional (CTA or similar)
  • Strong IT skills specifically excel and ideally to include familiarity with SAP
  • Experience with US GAAP an advantage, but not a requirement
  • Experience as a tax professional in Ireland (5+ years)
  • Multinational tax experience in the areas of tax provision, compliance, and transfer pricing
