AFG Corporate Security is looking for a Physical Security Systems and Technology Manager to join their team. This individual will work out of our downtown Cincinnati office. You’ll work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, to lead all aspects of our physical security systems and physical security technologies.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Lead all aspects and phases of physical security systems and technology administration
  • Build, develop, optimize and lead access control, badging, and physical security tools, platforms, and programs
  • Serve as the subject matter expert regarding video surveillance, physical access control, intrusion prevention, and other physical security technology applications
  • Propose, develop, implement, and coordinate policies, procedures, and activities that support physical security initiatives while maintaining compliance with all applicable rules and regulations
  • Promotes, creates awareness of, and provides training to business units, as well as the physical security team, regarding physical security systems and technology
  • Propose and support the development of physical security tools and technologies that lead to continued improvements of our physical security programs and initiatives
  • Manage equipment lifecycles and device obsolescence
  • Assist in planning the physical security systems and technology budget items and ensure key results are timely and within approved budget
  • Create and maintain vendor relationships
  • Other duties, projects, and initiatives as assigned

Job Requirements:

Education: Professional degree in a related field preferred

Experience: Minimum of 5 years of work experience with physical security systems operation, design, implementation, troubleshooting, and lifecycle management

Skills:

  • Experience with multiple different access control, video management, and camera systems, specifically including LENEL, Milestone, and Axis is required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of, and experience with, physical security technology platforms, software, and vendor solutions
  • Maintain and/or achieve certifications in physical security applications
  • Professional member of ASIS; with PSP, APP, and/or CPP credential preferred
  • Must have initiative and ability to work both collaboratively and independently when needed.
  • Strong critical thinking and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize effectively in a dynamic environment.
  • Off-hour, on-call support is required
  • Travel to national corporate offices will be required as needed
  • Must be adaptable and flexible to work locations. This role may require you to work from home, while on the road, from an office, or from other unconventional locations or areas as needed
  • Ability to lead a team to support physical security initiatives and goals.
