The Translational Medicine Director will play a critical role in shaping and executing Enveda’s biomarker strategy, contributing to the success of our translational medicine programs. This role requires expertise in biomarker discovery, validation, and data analysis to drive insights that inform our clinical and preclinical programs. A background in inflammation, dermatology, or metabolism is highly desirable, as these areas align with Enveda’s therapeutic focus. This is a remote role offering an exciting opportunity to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team at the forefront of translational science.

Key Responsibilities
  • Biomarker Discovery and Development
  • Design and execute biomarker strategies to support drug discovery and development programs, focusing on inflammation, dermatology, and metabolism.
  • Identify, develop, and validate biomarkers for patient stratification, pharmacodynamic evaluation, and efficacy assessment.
  • Data Analysis and Interpretation
  • Analyze biomarker data from clinical and preclinical studies, leveraging advanced analytical tools and bioinformatics platforms.
  • Collaborate with bioinformatics and data science teams to integrate multi-omics data for comprehensive biomarker insights.
  • Translate complex biomarker data into actionable insights to inform decision-making.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration
  • Partner with clinical, preclinical, and discovery teams to ensure alignment of biomarker strategies with program goals.
  • Act as a key translational medicine representative in cross-functional project teams, contributing scientific and operational expertise.
  • External Partner and Vendor Management
  • Collaborate with external laboratories and CROs for biomarker assay development, validation, and data generation.
  • Evaluate and implement emerging technologies to enhance biomarker capabilities.
  • Scientific Leadership and Innovation
  • Stay abreast of the latest advancements in biomarker research, inflammation, dermatology, and metabolism to inform program strategies.
  • Publish and present scientific findings at conferences, meetings, and in peer-reviewed journals to enhance Enveda’s scientific reputation.

  • Qualifications
  • Education: Ph.D. in molecular biology, immunology, biochemistry, or a related field with 3+ years of postdoctoral or industry experience.
  • Experience: Proven expertise in biomarker discovery and translational research, particularly in inflammation, dermatology, or metabolic diseases. Hands-on experience with analytical methods such as genomics, proteomics, metabolomics, or other high-throughput platforms.Track record of contributing to preclinical and clinical drug development programs.
  • Skills and Competencies: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on biomarker data interpretation. Proficiency in bioinformatics tools and statistical software for data analysis. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex scientific concepts to diverse audiences.Demonstrated ability to lead and collaborate in cross-functional and matrixed environments.
