Job description

Job Summary: CoreSphere is seeking an experienced Solution Architect (SA) to assist with developing the full application architecture and developing solutions that translates business requirements into functioning software systems, services, and solutions. Our Salesforce SA will be working with a team to meet with clients and gather requirements and develop Salesforce solutions based on business needs with robust documentation. This position requires a strong knowledge of application development, database design, systems implementation and crafting technical solutions to complex business needs. The best candidates will be highly technical professionals experienced in Solution Architecture, Database Modeling, System Integration, and Web application development. Candidates should have extensive development experience with the Salesforce platform.

Responsibilities:
  • Serves as the technical Subject Matter Expert on Salesforce engagements / Projects.
  • Must have ability to translate business requirements into well-architected solutions that best leverage the Salesforce platforms and products
  • Must have experience with reverse engineering Salesforce features and customizations on the existing implementation to modify, re-design or refactor technical components.
  • Evaluate and document the benefits and risks to a solution’s feasibility and functionality
  • Provide detailed level of effort estimates for proposed solutions.
  • Must have hands-on experience with managing the execution of development, testing, and deployment plans to ensure a quality solution is delivered
  • Keep up with new Salesforce products and technical capabilities resulting from new product releases and acquisitions
  • Provide expertise during sales efforts to design High level Solution and estimate the technical level of effort
  • Participate in marketing events (e.g. Salesforce Forums and Events)
  • Demonstrate thought leadership through publishing, public speaking, and client presentations
  • The selected candidate will be responsible for leading projects through the requirements definition and solution design phases.  
  • The candidate will oversee overall solution design to meet the business requirements and fulfill user stories, and for leading a team of resources through the build, test, and deployment phases.
Required Skills and Experience:
  • Minimum bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field, Graduate degree preferred
  • Over 10+ years of IT experience with a minimum of 7-8 years of professional experience with the Salesforce Platform and related products.
  • 5-7 years of experience implementing CRM systems as a Solutions Architect
  • Must have 3-5 years of experience with hands on configuration and customization of Salesforce features
  • Must have demonstrated expertise in 3+ projects, implementing full SDLC (Discovery, requirements analysis, design, testing, deployment and maintenance) of the Salesforce based solutions preferably for Public Sector Organization (Federal Government).
  • Must have Certifications: Salesforce Admin I; Salesforce PD1, Salesforce PD2, and Salesforce Application Architect
  • Extensive development experience with Salesforce development technologies; security, process builder, flow, workflow, APEX, Visual Force, Lightning, Community, Workflows, Triggers, API, SOSL, SOQL, REST, App builder
  • Good understanding of Architecture and Integration Patterns, DevOps methods, Tools, and techniques
  • Good Understanding of Best Practices and Coding Standards
  • Experience in designing enterprise-level solutions on Salesforce Platform using both waterfall and agile software development methodologies throughout the whole life cycle with repeated and demonstrable success
  • Expert level understanding of the Salesforce product suite, including Sales, Service, Experience Cloud, and Marketing Clouds, as well as the Force.com Platform
  • Extensive experience with Salesforce configuration, including workflows, validation rules, Process Builder, and security controls
  • Experience with implementing Single Sign-on Solution using Identify providers such Microsoft Active Directory, Okta etc.
  • Experience defining business requirements, writing user stories, and providing detailed Salesforce system and functional designs
  • Experience in documenting business processes and wireframing system designs using process flow diagram tools, UML, sequence diagrams, etc. as well as making recommendations for future state improved processes and system designs
  • Expert level experience defining the system architecture landscape, identifying gaps between current and desired end-states, and delivering a comprehensive solution that will enable achievement of the desired business outcomes
  • Experience integrating Salesforce with different business systems, basic understanding of programming logic and constructs, specifically in Salesforce, and their use in software development
  • Experience with single-org deployments and multi-org consolidations
Desired Skills and Experience:
  • Active Salesforce certifications desired: Salesforce Application Architect, Salesforce Developer II, Salesforce Sales/Service Cloud consultant
  • Proven experience in overseeing the direction, development, and implementation of CRM software solutions
  • Experience with Release management and deployments using Change Sets or DevOps tool like Copado, Gearset, Jenkins, Aure etc.
  • Strong knowledge of CRM software quality assurance best practices and methodologies
  • Must have excellent oral and written communication, presenting, meeting facilitation, negotiation, decision making, and problem-solving skills
  • Must be a team player as demonstrated through a customer qualification of a large scale/enterprise implementation with multiple work streams
  • Dynamic and self-motivated person with a strong customer focus with the ability to lead new initiatives across the platform
Work Authorization/Clearance: Must be a US Citizen and able to pass a Public Trust background check.
