JOB TITLE: Project Manager

DEPARTMENT: Brand - Client Partnerships

REPORTS TO: Brand and Operations Director

LOCATION: Remote or Hybrid

 

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Client Partnership department is a collective of creative, strategic and statistical brand and project managers focused on the goal of nurturing long-standing partnerships with clients and internal teams. We serve as the focal point of the agency connecting and impacting client’s business goals to the services and subject matter experts that can come together to help solve clients’ business problems.

The role of the project manager is to scope, define, manage and lead the implementation of projects from inception to launch and post-launch. In this dynamic and evolving marketing and advertising climate, this individual must be solution-focused, with an eye for understanding how a project or group of projects align to the client’s business objectives. This role includes managing and developing timelines, resources, project schedules, status reports and creative grids. Areas of interest and/or expertise should include Travel/Tourism, retail clients and/or dynamic creative optimization (DCO) platforms.


WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Manage the daily activity of all assigned accounts and jobs, ensuring priorities are set and the work is successfully completed within time and budget parameters, while meeting quality-of-work expectations
  • Lead the internal execution of project/deliverables through agency workflow, managing the day-to-day communications, and resources
  • Keep up-to-date project schedules, status reports, creative grids, hours used, etc.
  • Work with project teams to confirm specs, closing dates and extensions as needed and files are delivered per the requirements of the project
  • Understand project objective and strategy; sets meetings and leads the team in identifying, communicating and developing solutions for any potential problems or opportunities related to tactical execution
  • Responsible for helping to coordinate, plan resources and identify the assets required to best execute content needs on assigned projects
  • Ensure all team members are included and appropriately engaged at the right time and place
  • Work with discipline leaders to make team assignments; ensure the deployment of best-fit internal and external resources, across all locations
  • Lead the cross-functional team in the development and management of project road maps, hours, estimates and timelines
  • Lead the scoping and development of projects, including small to midsize projects, marcoms, and campaigns
  • Ensure all work has been appropriately reviewed internally before presentation to client
  • Lead QA, checking all materials for accuracy and completeness
  • Ensure all necessary rights, clearances and authorizations are obtained, as outlined in the R&R Advertising Guidelines
  • Ensure all files are properly documented and saved per agency process

 

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • 4-5 years of experience in project management in a full-service agency environment
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising or related field preferred
  • Experience leading large integrated teams and ability to foster collaboration and create the conditions to do amazing work
  • Facilitates effective and positive conflict resolution among team members
  • Ability to effectively manage small- to medium-sized projects independently on assigned accounts
  • A visionary, anticipate roadblocks and actively seek solutions to solve them
