The Talent Acquisition Lead is responsible for leading internal and external recruitment for various positions, including but not limited to Sales, Marketing, Engineering, Data and Product. This includes identifying potential hires, interviewing and evaluating candidates all the way through to the offer stage. In this role, you will be an advisor and partner to hiring managers and hiring teams, and an internal SME with regards to best practice, systems, processes and tools connected to talent acquisition. You will drive operational excellence by demonstrating a growth mindset, having an eye for continuous improvement and prioritizing candidate and hiring team experience as well as functional effectiveness.

What you'll get the opportunity to do:

Manage Full Cycle Recruitment

  • Own and execute the full cycle recruitment process while effectively utilizing systems and tools. This includes intake meetings, sourcing, recruitment admin, stakeholder management, interviewing and offer negotiation.

  • Create and implement a sourcing strategy for the business to meet current talent needs and build a pipeline for future roles ensuring high quality, diverse candidates

  • Conduct in-depth intake meetings with leaders to ensure alignment on position, impact and expectations while providing market and hiring insights

  • Effectively manage the inbound flow of internal and external candidate applications including referrals and ensure timely communication with all applicants.

  • Evaluate candidates based on values and competency framework and run a comprehensive end-to-end selection process

  • Ensure compliance with all hiring policies, practices, and company values

  • Maintain accurate and organized candidate records in Greenhouse (ATS).

  • Provide mentorship to junior recruiters on the team

  • Create and manage diversity and inclusion recruitment strategies to ensure a diverse pipeline

Partner and Trusted Advisor

  • Provide support and act as a highly collaborative strategic partner to all hiring managers and senior leadership as it pertains to hiring talent on their teams.

  • Provide talent acquisition advice and guidance to business leaders and other stakeholders across the business

  • Take pride in high quality candidate and customer (internal stakeholder) experience by providing transparency and progress updates on a regular cadence

  • Foster effective and collaborative working relationships with team members, fellow employees, management and external partners

Streamline processes and improve efficiency of the TA function

  • Proactively research best practices and trends. Identifying opportunities to develop enhanced, streamlined practices and procedures for delivery of all talent acquisition services

  • Responsible for continuous improvement and operational excellence for all client groups. This includes developing and delivering interview training, Greenhouse system training, identifying process improvements and implementing changes

Lead or support Talent projects and initiatives

  • Balance recruitment activities with improving functional effectiveness (depending on workload): Lead or support Talent projects from inception to completion. This includes, but is not limited to, Employer Brand, DE&I Partnerships and Talent Effectiveness

What you'll bring to the team:
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, including the ability to prioritize workload based on business needs.

  • Bias for action: ability to take initiative, a sense of urgency and someone who is not afraid to raise the bar

  • Team player, with a willingness to jump in and take the lead on whatever is required to build a high performing TA function

  • 5-7 years of full cycle recruitment experience for roles across all levels

  • 2 years of technical recruitment experience

  • Global recruitment experience

  • Employer Brand experience preferred

  • Experience with various recruitment platforms (example LinkedIn Recruiter and Greenhouse)

  • Confidence being a Talent Partner and advisor to Flipp’s Leadership Team.

  • Effective communication and the ability to clearly set expectations and objectives.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

  • Strong project management skills

  • Demonstrated ability to be successful in a fast-paced and rapidly changing work environment

  • Ability to influence hiring managers’ talent decisions by providing relevant data to support good decision making.

  • Ability to build talent pipelines based on future talent needs of the organization
