Job description

Who we are

Samsara (NYSE: IOT) is the pioneer of the Connected Operations™ Cloud, which is a platform that enables organizations that depend on physical operations to harness Internet of Things (IoT) data to develop actionable insights and improve their operations. At Samsara, we are helping improve the safety, efficiency and sustainability of the physical operations that power our global economy. Representing more than 40% of global GDP, these industries are the infrastructure of our planet, including agriculture, construction, field services, transportation, and manufacturing — and we are excited to help digitally transform their operations at scale.

Working at Samsara means you’ll help define the future of physical operations and be on a team that’s shaping an exciting array of product solutions, including Video-Based Safety, Vehicle Telematics, Apps and Driver Workflows, Equipment Monitoring, and Site Visibility. As part of a recently public company, you’ll have the autonomy and support to make an impact as we build for the long term.

About the role:

We are looking for a skilled and dynamic Sr. Campaign Marketing Manager to join our Canada Marketing Team. In this role, you will design, execute, optimize, and measure high-impact campaigns and programs that drive brand awareness, generate demand, and solidify Samsara’s position as the leader in connected operations across Canada. The ideal candidate is a hands-on, full-stack marketer with exceptional project management skills and a proven track record of successfully creating and launching full-funnel campaigns. This highly collaborative role involves building strong partnerships with central and regional marketing teams while working closely with other go-to-market (GTM) functions to achieve shared goals.

This is a remote role open to candidates residing anywhere in Canada.

You should apply if:

  • You want to impact the industries that run our world: Your efforts will result in real-world impact—helping to keep the lights on, get food into grocery stores, reduce emissions, and most importantly, ensure workers return home safely.
  • You are the architect of your own career: If you put in the work, this role won’t be your last at Samsara. We set up our employees for success and have built a culture that encourages rapid career development, countless opportunities to experiment and master your craft in a hyper growth environment.
  • You’re energized by our opportunity: The vision we have to digitize large sectors of the global economy requires your full focus and best efforts to bring forth creative, ambitious ideas for our customers.
  • You want to be with the best: At Samsara, we win together, celebrate together and support each other. You will be surrounded by a high-calibre team that will encourage you to do your best.

In this role, you will:

  • Manage the development of integrated marketing campaigns in Canada, encompassing online and offline channels, including digital, social media, print, events, and more
  • Create campaign narratives, working closely with the Canada Marketing Director and sales leaders, and then collaborate with marketing channel owners to deliver this narrative into the market
  • Prioritize resourcing into marketing channels that are best positioned to hit pipeline goals, understanding which channels will resonate with each target segment
  • Work closely with sales enablement and top of funnel business development teams to ensure sales and marketing activity is aligned
  • Assess and adapt global campaigns, setting a regional approach that maximizes the use of available marketing materials while keeping the Canadian market at the core
  • Monitor and evaluate campaign performance metrics to evaluate effectiveness and ROI, and identify areas for future improvement
  • Champion, role model, and embed Samsara's cultural values (Focus on Customer Success, Build for the Long Term, Adopt a Growth Mindset, Be Inclusive, and Win as a Team) as we scale globally and across new offices

Minimum requirements for the role:

  • 5+  years of experience in regional marketing, field marketing, and/or demand generation
  • Proven record in creating, adapting, and executing marketing programs for pipeline generation, with a strong understanding of demand generation channels
  • Outstanding project management and organizational aptitudes with the ability to prioritize amidst many moving pieces and deadlines
  • Experience using analytics to identify the impact and effectiveness of marketing programs and their impact throughout the sales funnel
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills (written, verbal, and visual)
  • Self-starter: A highly motivated professional who requires minimal supervision and shows initiative with ideas that support marketing strategy and goals
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

An ideal candidate also has:

  • Familiarity working in the Canadian market
  • Business French fluency is a plus
  • A good understanding of B2B sales processes and customer journeys
  • Expertise in B2B marketing tech stacks, including Salesforce, Marketo, and On24
