The client are looking for an Accounts Assistant, with a passion for the Retail, Beauty and Cosmetics industry, to join the Accounting & Finance department. The role is fully remote and will require someone to come to the City of London every 1-2 months.
Client Details
The role is a fully remote position that will suit a candidate with approximately 2-3 years experience in Accounting and Finance. The finance team is small and you will be working alongside another Accounts Assistant and a Senior Management Accountant. The successful candidate will have the chance to work across both the AP and AR ledgers on an international scale and will have a lot of growth opportunities. The team are really easy to get on with and are looking for a candidate to help manage the increased workload of the finance team.
Description
The successful Accounts Assistant will:
Manage the end-to-end Accounts Payable and Receivable ledgers
Weekly payment run prep and processing
Supplier statement reconciliations
Assisting with month-end procedures
Daily and monthly bank reconciliations
Assist with the journal posting and VAT returns
Credit Control
Assist with the preparing of the financial reports and management accounts
Aged creditor and debtor reporting
Ad hoc financial reporting
Profile
A Successful Accounts Assistant Should Have
Approximately 2-3 years of experience in a similar role
MUST have experience across both Accounts Payable and Receivable
MUST be able to travel to London once every 1-2 months
AAT qualified - highly desirable
Strong Excel skills
Ideally has NetSuite experience (highly desirable)
High attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Job Offer
£30,000 - £35,000
