JOB DESCRIPTION


We are looking for an Account Manager who is an excellent communicator, and well-organized relationship builder. The Account Manager will be charged with fostering cross-team partnerships to produce incredible work, grow existing accounts, and build long-lasting relationships with clients.


In this role, you will be responsible for developing long-term relationships with your portfolio of assigned clients and connecting with key business executives and stakeholders. You will support Oodle’s key enterprise accounts. You will liaise between customers and cross-functional internal teams to ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to client needs.

The Account Manager must have some level of familiarity with all three pillars of the Digital Ecosystem: 


  1. Digital Marketing & Advertising - Marketing Strategy, Persona Development, Buyer Journey Mapping, Content, Social, Email, SEO, and Media
  2. Website & Mobile Experiences - User Experience Design, Website Design, Web Portals 
  3. Data & Performance Management - Data Science, Analytics, Measurement & Reporting

While more experience across all three core components of the ecosystem is preferred, knowledge within one is sufficient. 



TYPICAL WORK ACTIVITIES


An Account Manager’s job may involve managing more than one project / client at a time and allocating the relevant amount of time according to the value of the job. Typical activities include: 

 

  • Operate as the lead point of contact for any and all matters specific to your client
  • Communicate clearly the progress of monthly / quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders
  • Work with clients to uncover business needs and objectives, build appropriate strategies, and identify and implement processes to help achieve client goals
  • Act as the internal client advocate while understanding the client’s business lifecycle (i.e. how our client makes money, services their customers, marketing strategy, and more)
  • Represent the client internally to ensure successful execution while delivering results that meet or exceed objectives
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure client needs are being exceeded and ensure on-time and on-budget deliverables
  • Seek opportunities for growth and innovation within assigned accounts
  • Forecast and track key account metrics
  • Bonus: healthcare, insurance, higher education, and / or CPG experience

 


ENTRY REQUIREMENTS


  • Bachelor's degree (Marketing degree preferred)
  • 1–2 Agency or Marketing experience, preferably digitally-focused
  • Demonstrated track record of client relationship development and service
  • Experience working as part of a cross-functional team and within a range of marketing capabilities (digital marketing preferred)
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
