The Project Manager works with business leaders to strategize, plan, and execute on projects needed to either achieve their business goals, objectives, and KPIs on the Balanced Scorecard or improve their business processes. This level focuses on managing a small number of simpler projects.

 

About the Role:

  • Serves as the leader for assigned area, managing stakeholder and business leader expectations, providing all necessary information, communicating, ensuring transparency, keeping the community well-informed at all times, gaining approvals when necessary, managing change, and representing the area in meetings and forums.
  • Works with stakeholders, business leaders, and Business Process Management to reference the Business Capability & Process Model for assigned area.
  • Works with business groups and any other dependent areas/teams to ensure overall project success in assigned area, leading project initiation, planning, execution, monitoring and control, and closure, managing upward escalation using project governance as necessary.
  • Contributes to the achievement of team goals and objectives and leads the achievement of KPI targets (Coverage Index, Quality Index, Effectiveness Index, Efficiency Index, Stakeholder Satisfaction) for assigned area, ensuring all necessary data has been collected and rolled up.
  • Participates in identifying, planning, defining, and implementing Continuous Improvements for assigned area.
  • Owns achievement of individual goals and objectives in support of team goals and objectives.
  • Participates/contributes to a Community of Practice (CoP) for Business Project Managers.
  • Works with stakeholders, business leaders, and Business Process Management to understand business strategy for assigned area, as it relates to projects, inclusive of business goals and objectives, balanced scorecard alignment and area KPIs, and required business capability and process improvements, and can articulate it when necessary.
  • Establishes the necessary dashboards/public shares to publish the business strategy for assigned area.
  • Leads ad hoc analysis efforts to address challenges or opportunities arising in assigned area, documenting and communicating final results, and ensuring an action plan is established, as necessary.
  • Works with stakeholders, business leaders, and Business Process Management to establish a project roadmap for assigned area, considering business goals and objectives, balanced scorecard alignment and area KPIs, and required business capability and process improvements, based on assigned business resources and any constraints, and can articulate it when necessary.
  • Works with stakeholders and business leaders for assigned area to review roadmap with BPMO executive sponsors to maintain directional approval.
  • Works with stakeholders and business leaders to respond to any important/urgent business needs that arise in assigned area, facilitating tradeoff and re-planning discussions and adjusting Project Roadmap.
  • Establishes the necessary dashboards/public shares to publish the Project Roadmap for assigned area, inclusive of progress.
  • Establishes a clearly defined and refined Planning Backlog of projects for assigned area, aligned to the roadmap, and adherent to project management and backlog best practice standards.
  • Ensures community for assigned area is following planning processes.
  • Works with business leaders to establish high-level Project Plans for assigned area, based on roadmap, inclusive of project initiation, project planning, project execution, project monitoring and controlling, and project closure, and can articulate it to leadership and the area’s community.
  • Establishes the necessary dashboards/public shares to publish Project Plans for assigned area, inclusive of progress.
  • Works with business leaders in assigned area to work through projects from the Project Roadmap and fulfill all requirements for project initiation (e.g. Project Charter, Stakeholder Matrix), facilitating discussions and documenting, adhering to project management best practice standards.
  • Works with business leaders in assigned area to analyze projects from the Project Roadmap and fulfill all requirements for project planning (e.g. Project Management Plan, Work Breakdown Structure, Resource Plan, Communications Plan, Risk Management Plan), facilitating discussions, documenting, analyzing, ideating, and organizing, adhering to project management best practice standards.
  • Works with business leaders and project teams in assigned area to fulfill all requirements for project execution (e.g. Directing Project Work, Managing Project Team, Managing Stakeholders, Managing Communications, Implementing Risk Responses), facilitating discussions, updating dashboards, communicating, and driving, adhering to project management best practice standards.
  • Works with business leaders and project teams in assigned area to fulfill all requirements for project monitoring and controlling (e.g. Monitoring Project Work, Change Control, Controlling Scope, Monitoring Risks), facilitating discussions, engaging stakeholders, monitoring dashboards, and communicating, adhering to project management best practice standards.
  • Participate in relevant project forums for assigned area (e.g. Slack channels, email groups, stand-ups, team meetings, working sessions, demonstrations, retrospectives).
  • Works with business leaders and project teams in assigned area to fulfill all requirements for project closure (e.g. Closeout Meeting) to ensure in-scope business needs were satisfied by the project, adhering to project management best practice standards.
  • Ensures community for assigned area is following execution processes.

Base pay offered will depend upon qualifications and other operational considerations. Base pay is one part of Bluebeam’s Total Rewards program, which seeks to compensate and recognize employees for their work. Most sales positions are eligible for commission under the terms of an applicable commission plan, while most non-sales position are eligible for a bonus under the terms of an applicable bonus plan. The base pay range for this position is: $108,900 – 163,200
