We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Account Manager to join our dynamic account management team. As a Senior Account Manager, you will manage key accounts in the education sector, foster long-term relationships, and drive revenue growth. This role requires a deep understanding of the education industry, exceptional sales and negotiation skills, and the ability to provide strategic solutions to meet the unique needs of our clients. 

What will you be doing?  

  1. Account Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts in the education sector, including schools, colleges, and universities. 
  2. Sales Growth: Achieve and exceed sales targets by identifying new business opportunities within existing accounts and expanding the customer base. 
  3. Client Engagement: Understand the specific needs and challenges of each client and develop tailored solutions to address their requirements. 
  4. Strategic Planning: Collaborate with internal teams to develop account plans, sales strategies, and initiatives that align with the company's overall objectives. 
  5. Market Knowledge: Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and maintain a competitive edge. 
  6. Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and customer support, to ensure successful implementation and ongoing satisfaction of clients. 
  7. Reporting and Analysis: Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for improvement. 
  8. Customer Success: Proactively address customer concerns, resolve issues, and ensure overall customer satisfaction and retention. 
  9. Professional Development: Stay updated on industry best practices, attend relevant conferences, and participate in training programs to enhance skills and knowledge. 
Requirements

 

Who you are: 

  • A Bachelor's degree is preferred for this role but not required. 
  • Proven track record of successful sales and account management in the education sector. 
  • Strong education industry knowledge, including familiarity with educational products, services, and technology solutions. 
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. 
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships. 
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities. 
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently and as part of a team. 
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite. 
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet clients and attend conferences/events.
