Position: POS Tester with D365
Location: Remote
Duration: 6 months (with possible extension)

Summary:

Overview: We are seeking a POS Tester with comprehensive experience in Dynamics 365 (D365) modules to ensure the functionality, reliability, and performance of our Point of Sale (POS) systems.
The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, have a strong understanding of retail operations, and possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Execute test cases and test scripts for POS systems integrated with D365 modules.
Identify, document, and track defects and issues in the POS system.
Collaborate with development teams to understand functional and technical requirements.
Validate that POS systems meet business requirements and specifications.
Perform regression testing to ensure that new code changes do not adversely affect existing functionalities.
Conduct performance and stress testing to evaluate the robustness of the POS system.
Prepare and maintain detailed test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test results.
Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospective meetings as part of the Agile development process.
Provide input and recommendations for continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in POS testing with hands-on experience in Dynamics 365 (D365) modules.
Strong knowledge of retail POS systems and retail operations.
Proficiency in test management tools and defect tracking systems.
Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Certification in software testing or quality assurance.
Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks.
Understanding of data integration and migration processes.
