The Product Manager – FullsteamPay Merchant Underwriting, Boarding & Funding is a technical and product role that has the primary responsibility to accelerate FullsteamPay Platform capacities to increase software companies on the platform. We’re looking for a driven, analytical minded professional to join our team. It includes Product Management responsibilities to develop, prioritize, and execute the product roadmap. A successful candidate also understands project management & product adoption is key. You are a hands-on leader, have deep experience in providing product management. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, an eagerness to collaborate with different teams, curiosity to learn more every day, and patience to work through difficult problems.

Primary Responsibilities:

Actively explore current merchant underwriting space to identify opportunities to help accelerate development or improve existing product offerings

Address ambiguous problems and formulate hypotheses into actionable and well-designed experiments

Partner cross-functionally with our Product, Engineering, Design, and other teams, build a rapport and be a trusted advisor to team members

Own end-to-end product analytics workflow, including defining success and performance metrics, socializing them across the organization, and creating actionable dashboards and recommendations

Creates user interface design prototypes for next generation workflow screens, with prototyping tools.

Serves as a resource on: design, process, test, quality & sales, and marketing as products move to production and integration.

Supports ongoing analysis, prioritization, and scheduling of defect fixes.

Directs market research & business intelligence to gather customer, user & market feedback and identify current business conditions with SWOT analysis.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to structure ambiguous problems into clear, actionable solutions.
  • Deep understanding of merchant underwriting, payments, and risk management.
  • Proficiency in product analytics, metrics definition, and data visualization tools.
  • Experience with user interface (UI) design and prototyping tools.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
  • Knowledge of regulatory and compliance considerations in the payments and financial services industry.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related technical field. M.B.A would be a plus.
  • 3-5 years of product management experience
  • 2-3 years of software integration experience. Payment’s integration is a plus.
  • Proficiency of the Payments ecosystem including Payment processors, ISOs, Payment facilitators, Card brand rules & regulations, and pricing models
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work cross-functionally in team environments
  • Advanced SQL knowledge (window function, CTE, etc.) and familiarity with Python or R for efficient EDA and statistical analysis
  • Customer-focused mindset
  • Must have superior written & verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Background in fraud prevention, compliance, or risk analytics.
  • Experience working in a high growth fintech or SaaS company.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Tableau, Looker, or other data analysis tools.
