We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Senior Programmatic Media Specialist to join our Google Marketing Platform (GMP) Operating Unit. This role focuses on supporting clients who have purchased CM360 or DV360 by providing platform access, account setup, training, and technical tool support. The ideal candidate will possess strong client-facing skills to enhance customer engagement and drive growth through effective use of GMP media tools. 

Information Security Responsibilities
  • Promote and enforce awareness of key information security practices, including acceptable use of information assets, malware protection, and password security protocols
  • Identify, assess, and report security risks, focusing on how these risks impact the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information assets
  • Understand and evaluate how data is stored, processed, or transmitted, ensuring compliance with data privacy and protection standards (GDPR, CCPA, etc.)
  • Ensure data protection measures are integrated throughout the information lifecycle to safeguard sensitive information

  • Role and Responsibilities
  • Serve as a key partner in expanding our GMP OU media efforts to strengthen our relationship with Google and drive additional client revenue 
  • Provide hands-on training for clients on setting up and managing DV360 and CM360 accounts, advertisers, insertion orders, campaigns, and key aspects of audience targeting and bidding strategies 
  • Assist in developing and delivering structured workshops, training materials, and best practices documentation to help clients become self-sufficient 
  • Act as the primary subject matter expert (SME) for programmatic media buying, addressing ad hoc client questions and troubleshooting across DV360 and CM360, while also providing guidance on Google Ads and SA360 as needed  
  • Partner with the Senior Director of GMP Media Platforms to refine media analytics offerings and support business development 
  • Help develop sales materials and pricing models for GMP media services 
  • Train GMP OU SMEs on media analytics projects to ensure the retention of work within the GMP OU 
  • Support Annual Business Reviews (ABRs) and client check-ins to maintain engagement and drive revenue growth 
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, leading conversations and workshops as the main SME 
  • Proactively identify opportunities to expand relationships with clients 
  • Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of Google products and updates, ensuring Bounteous adopts the latest innovations 
  • Stay informed of industry trends, technological advancements, and competitive offerings to drive the adoption of best practices and innovative solutions 

  • Preferred Qualifications
  • 5-7 years of DV360, CM360, SA360, and Google Ads 
  • Hands-on experience in DV360 programmatic media buying and execution, including Real-Time Bidding (RTB), private marketplaces (PMPs), programmatic direct, insertion orders, and audience targeting 
  • Strong expertise in bidding strategies, audience segmentation, and inventory management 
  • Proficient in Google Tag Manager (GTM), Floodlight Tags, and conversion tracking setup and troubleshooting 
  • In-depth understanding of Google products, updates, and the broader digital marketing ecosystem 
  • Expert knowledge of GMP products and digital marketing services 
  • Experience troubleshooting pixels, tracking discrepancies, and ensuring data accuracy 
  • Deep background in burn reports, budget pacing, and invoice tracking 
  • Proven ability to develop and deliver training materials, best practice guides, and SOPs for clients 
  • Strong track record of successfully training clients and internal teams on digital marketing platforms and strategies 
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders 
  • Adept at collaborating within a team while independently managing client portfolios 
  • Familiarity with contract renewals and challenges within a digital agency environment 
  • An entrepreneurial mindset with a detail-oriented approach, capable of managing multiple priorities with limited resources 
  • Google Marketing Platform and Google Cloud certifications a plus 
  • Degree in IT, digital marketing analytics, related field, or equivalent experience preferred
