Solution Architect

Our team is looking for passionate professionals to join our sales team as a Solution Architect. This position is full-time remote with a preference for candidates based in the United Kingdom or Ireland.

You will be joining a team entrusted by enterprise clients in numerous industries to help identify, design, and implement solutions for their critical business challenges.

Job Description

The Solution Architect position plays a critical role on the Entando Sales team, working directly with existing and potential clients to define solutions that meet their key business needs. The ideal candidate is well versed in the cloud-native application stack and familiar with front and back-end technologies, including Java, React/Angular, web architectures, UX design principles and practices, database technologies, cloud environments, containers, microservices, agile and DevOps methodologies, and continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) practices.

The candidate should have strong people skills and the ability to communicate with business and technical teams. The selected candidate will be expected to define, develop, and deliver technical demonstrations of applications based on the Entando platform as part of pre-sales activities with the Sales group.

Requirements

5+ years of development experience designing, developing, and maintaining large-scale web applications
Right to work in the United Kingdom

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or software engineering or comparable work experience

Experience leading brainstorming sessions to develop potential solutions for business needs or problems
Ability to identify process improvements and efficiency opportunities in existing systems
Fluent spoken and written English communication skills
Knowledge of Kubernetes and/or OpenShift
Working knowledge of Linux
Experience with frontend technologies including JavaScript, CSS3, HTML5, React and/or Angular
Experience with backend technologies such as Spring, SpringBoot, and Quarkus.
Experience with SQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, other RDBMS)
Familiarity with continuous integration and deployment concepts
Understanding of Micro Frontend Architecture Style
Understanding of Microservice Architecture Style

We’ll be especially impressed if you have:

Experience working directly with clients in a pre-sales or services/consulting capacity
Experience with digital transformation and/or cloud migration projects
