Bilingual Administrative Assistant (Medical) — Remote
An exciting opportunity is available in the insurance industry for a professional who excels in attention to detail and thrives in an administrative role. This position plays a key role in ensuring privacy and confidentiality standards are met in all external communications. Working closely with Case Managers, Operations Specialists, Associate Managers, Plan Sponsors, and Plan Members, the successful candidate will assess outgoing communication, mitigate risk, and contribute to continuous process improvements.

• Hourly salary of $17.85.
• 6-month contract with a possibility of extension up to one year.
• Full-time position: 37.50 hours per week.
• Weekday schedule from 11 am to 7 pm.

Responsibilities:
• Review and assess external communications to ensure compliance with privacy protocols and client-specific guidelines.
• Identify and correct potential privacy risks, providing feedback to case managers and leadership.
• Analyze communication trends to document patterns and suggest improvements.
• Efficiently manage a shared email inbox to meet turnaround times while maintaining accuracy.
• Assist with case management-related administrative tasks, including email communications, tool referrals, and invoice processing.
What you will need to succeed:
• Post-secondary education (college or university level).
• 0-2 years of experience in an administrative or related role.
• Bilingual in English and French to support clients and plan members in both languages, ensuring clear and compliant communication.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Teams, Excel, OneNote, OneDrive, PowerPoint) and Adobe.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organization, prioritization, and planning abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with high workloads and strict deadlines.
• Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills and initiative.
• Experience in disability management, group benefits, or a health-related administrative setting is an asset.
