Job description

Resource Innovations is seeking a Data Analyst Lead in Chicago, IL to join our growing team. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Analyst Lead to join our dynamic team. The Data Analyst Lead will be responsible for leading the collection, analysis, and reporting of data for energy efficiency programs. This individual will support program evaluation, reporting, and process improvements through data-driven insights, working with large datasets to identify trends, ensure program compliance, and help drive overall program success. The ideal candidate has a strong analytical background and experience in energy efficiency, with an ability to interpret complex data and translate findings into actionable strategies.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manages and implements program data verification processes across multiple programs and clients
  • Diagnoses and troubleshoots application issues to determine root cause of problems or malfunctions. Proactively identifies and scopes database enhancement opportunities.
  • Defines quality control requirements and works collaboratively across teams to ensure compliance.
  • Creates and maintains comprehensive process documentation.
  • Generates weekly, monthly, and ad hoc reports to audit, monitor & measure performance, and relevant metrics.  
  • Manages and mentors a small team by setting and reviewing performance standards and objectives for direct reports.
  • Acts as Subject Matter Expert of various software systems necessary to the role.
  • Coordinates across multiple organization and departments and responsible for communication of relevant information.
  • Analyzes complex sets of data and develops reporting tools in Excel and various ecommerce software systems to support program operations, summarizes findings and improves data processes.  
  • Provides analysis and supports accurate forecasting for internal use and to inform clients and partners of program projections.   
  • Supports program evaluation efforts and identifies opportunities for process improvement.  
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and previous data related experience is required
  • Proficient skills with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills and experience
  • 2+ years of CRM experience, preferably Salesforce, developing reports and importing/exporting data.
  • Interest in sustainability and passionate about making a meaningful impact on the environment.

The compensation range for this exempt position is $70,000 - $85,000. The stated range is based on a good faith estimate of the compensation range for the duties, responsibilities and skills / experience required for the position. Starting pay will be dependent on experience and internal equity. This range may be exceeded for well-qualified candidates, especially with industry experience.
