Position Summary

The Compensation Consultant is a key role in providing consultative expertise, guidance, and analysis to hospitals and business units to help meet objectives while ensuring equity, external competitiveness and compliance. In this position, you will work cross-functionally with leadership and human potential in over to develop comprehensive compensation strategies across MultiCare Health System.

Responsibilities

  • You will provide guidance to assigned hospital and/or business unit(s) areas with complex compensation-related matters, resolving escalated issues and inquiries timely with a high degree of accuracy
  • You will monitor existing programs and tools for ongoing issues and concerns
  • You will provide timely, accurate and appropriate levels of information to facilitate sound decision-making
  • You will research new theories, best practices, techniques and tools, and suggest enhancements to existing programs

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field required or four (4) years of experience in lieu of a degree will be considered
  • Certification in related area desirable (i.e. CCP, CBP, PHR)
  • Three (3) years of experience in Compensation or Human Resources to include experience researching compensation issues, compensation administration, and developing recommendations for solutions in a large organization, preferably in health care

Pay and Benefit Expectations

We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $86,944.00 - $125,091.00 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant’s years of experience align.
