Job Summary:

The Vice President of Strategic Accounts is responsible for leading and managing the strategic accounts team to drive growth, enhance customer relationships, and achieve revenue targets. This role involves developing and executing strategies to expand the company's presence in key accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction, and fostering long-term partnerships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic account plans to achieve revenue and growth targets.
  • Lead and mentor the strategic accounts team, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, understanding their needs and ensuring their satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and customer service, to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing accounts and potential new accounts.
  • Monitor and analyze account performance, providing regular reports and insights to senior management.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with key customers, ensuring favorable terms and conditions.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and market conditions to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and meetings to promote the company's brand and capabilities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • Proven experience in strategic account management, with a track record of achieving revenue and growth targets.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and other relevant tools.

Key Metrics:

  • Account share, revenue, and gross profit growth.
  • Customer satisfaction scores and retention rates.
  • Performance metrics such as first-time fix rate, days to complete, SLA response time compliance, and time to bill.
